I was scared for you last night baby.
Being woken up in the middle of the night feeling like my belly was holding a heavy weight.
It felt lifeless.
Feeling a 10 inch long lump on my right lower side that wouldn't budge with any coaxing or nudging from momma.
That was a long hour that I sat there willing for you to move.
You wouldn't believe the relief that washed over me when I finally felt that little kick.
That fear hits too close for me.
It was probably an irrational fear and not resting in my heavenly Father got the worst of me....
I guess you were just having a really good sleep. I'm glad at least one of us did.

I had another Dr check up on Monday. All was well in baby land. Heart beat was 142. Fundal height right on track with 20 weeks. My triple screening came back good - should have just refused it cuz I would love you and fight for you no matter what...
We have our ultrasound next Wednesday. Can't wait - especially cuz Brian is coming too.

20 down - 20 to go!
Hard to believe I'm 1/2 way.
I think 20 weeks is one of my favorite weeks - mostly for the fact that baby jumps from 6 inches to 10 in one week! (after 20 weeks baby is measured from head to foot - prior to that it was head to bum). Altho, this picture doesn't show that...
I finally got on top of my eczema. It was a rough week of swollen itchy eyes - trialing & erroring creams and potions....but I think we got it figured out now. I can at least go out in public again without people looking at me kinda funny. But I still think a trip to the beautiful moist coast would be best ;)
I thought I'd do a belly comparison this week. Right now I'm 133 lbs, with Brennan I was 132 & Kellan I was 134.5, so pretty consistent with my weight so far. I've definately noticed that I have popped the last couple weeks - and I'm finally past the 'chubby' stage and into the looking pregnant stage.
20 weeks....
...with Brennan:
...with Kellan:
measuring in at almost 35 inches...with Baby #3:
The other day at work I had a listen to the baby's heart beat again. 144. And being the big nerd that I am....I went home and graphed all the heartbeats through out each pregnancy to compare. Did I mention I'm such a nerd? :) Brennan & Kellan's followed the same curves but this one was lower to begin with and now it's higher. Maybe those old wives tales will end up being true?...
We've been talking about names a little bit more. We have a couple names that we like but aren't 100% on, and we are narrowing down some middle names too. At the moment we really like the idea of having bible/bible themed middle names. Kellan's automatically works (Mark) so we might just keep on going.
I've been stealing a few items from the maternity clothes box this past week, so today I am going to go through all my clothes and start incorporating the 'bigger belly' ones and get rid of the 'skinny' ones. I don't think I can put it off much longer ;) The other day I kept having to pull my shirt down as it would keep creeping back up over my little protrusion. It will be nice to have hoodies again where I don't have to pause & take a deep breath in before I can continue zipping it up. Hehe.
Oh, and Brian DID feel the baby move this past week!

Nineteen
Today and I'm bound and determined for Brian to feel the baby kick.
I've only felt babe kick my hand 2 or three times, but I know Brian is anxious to have proof that there is a real live baby in here - not just a made up excuse for me to put on weight :)
At the beginning of my pregnancy I wrote down all the other momma's who are expecting along with me. Lately that list has been dwindling. That means that my time is coming. Maybe not soon soon....but soon enough.
I'm not even close to being ready for this little one. No, it wouldn't take me long to haul out the rubbermaid tubs of tiny outfits and sleepers and get Brian to set up the play pen, but I know God planned pregnancies to be 9 months for a reason...to prepare our hearts, minds, and lives for a new little miracle.
My sweet little 6 inch miracle :)
I like how God makes pregnancies just long enough to make us go crazy with anticipation. I'm sure he could have sped up the growing time and cut it down to 8 months, but He throws in a little patience & character building with that last month.
I feel that the past 4 1/2 months have sped by, but I'm sure by that 36 week mark things will slow to a dragging pace...
But for now I will enjoy my rapidly expanding belly and the soft little pokes and tickles that brighten my day.

Almost 1/2 way!
Home come by the time I get around to doing my weekly/biweekly post/belly shot - it's almost time for the next picture to be taken and posted.
Here's our 18 week belly :)
I feel like I want to scratch my eyes out. My pregnancy eczema is definately back with a vengence. At least I know what it is this time.
I've felt the baby move more this week which is so fun. That is a feeling that never gets old.
Also, we have our ultrasound booked at the end of this month - so we're really looking forward to that!
So far I've gained 6 lbs which is right on track with my last 2 pregnancies. I think my body is getting used to this :)
Just about forgot my vegetable of the week. Hope baby isn't quite a hairy.
