4th Dr's appt.

On Friday I had another Dr's appt with this little babe.
I'm measuring right on for 25 weeks and I'm up 6 lbs from a month ago.
Baby 'E's (names might be partially chosen!!!) heart beat was 143.

Kellan's relationship with my Dr is on thin ice. Ever since his 1 year check up, they are not on good terms. I had K in my lap while the Dr was doing my BP and he started to cry and tried to get the cuff off my arm. Then I had to bring him up onto the examining table with me while the Dr did his measuring, etc and he was wimpering and swatting at Dr's hand the whole time. Aww...sweet sensitive little guy. Doesn't want mommy to get hurt.

My BP is pretty low these days. It's usually running around 90/60 but it was 80ish/50 this checkup. He didn't seem to concerened at the moment since I'm feeling pretty good and babe is healthy. Not sure exactly if it could be a problem - I guess I'm going to have to do a little bit of investigating.

Got the paperwork to get my diabetes test and thyroid levels checked so will do that at work this week - another perk to working at a hospital!

Feeling Large

Last night I felt GINORMOUS.
For 5 1/2 months anyways.
I feel normal again this morning. Whew!
Thought I had skipped a month or two for a moment :S

My 'too small' tub in my closet is spilling over and the 'too big' one that I keep pulling from is getting empty.
Go figure.

Lately I've been pretty lazy - physically. Well, basically for the whole pregnancy thus far, exercise has been non-existant.
I was pretty active the last 2 pregnancies and labour wise they were pretty good. So, I'm thinking that I better turn it up a notch (or at least do something!) to get my body ready for the BIG workout....which will be taking place in not too long.
I guess I should look at it like I'm training for a marathon.
And I guess that means I should get off my butt and go for a walk or something!

24 & Viable

I'm not sure why but I always think 'viable' is such a landmark in a pregnancy. Even though this child was viable in my heart since the day I found out we were expecting (and even before).
I guess it just means that we are that much closer.
That much closer to meeting this little suprise.

But really, why is this child now deemed 'worth fighting for' by the medical community? If I would have gone into labour at 23 weeks and 6 days would they not even try - even if the wee one came out alive...
Anyways, I'm not even going to go there. That wasn't my intent.
I was just saying that my baby is growing!

Speaking of growing....baby has graduated to an ear of corn.
About a foot long and just over a pound!

These past 2 weeks I've caught up to my weight at this time with Kellan. It's like my body just knows what to do and falls in line.
Smart thing.
The only thing I don't understand is, if the baby is only one pound....why is it that I have gained 13.5 pounds?!?

I have no signs of my 'belly line' yet or anymore. It didn't fade much after Brennan since it just carried over to Kellan's pregnancy. I noticed it a few months ago still but now it's gone and hasn't yet returned.
I'll be sure to keep you posted on this riveting news!!!

I feel like the baby has changed positions. Head down maybe? I'm feeling a lot more movement lower in my pelvis and almost like I'm squishing someone when I bend over.

Brian was buggin me to start the chalkboard countdown - so I did last night.
This morning it says "114 days until Baby!"

I think it might be too early to start the baby pool guessing.
But I'm guessing it's a boy.

How about name suggestions?!
Those are most welcome!
Maybe I should get everyone to cast a 'vote' for what we should name baby - then we'll give you a prize if we choose your name!
Altho, having us choose your name should be prize enough ;) Don't ya think?
